From your screenshot that's a pretty vanilla xp install (nice wallpaper btw - heads up scart!).
As someone who obviously loves Freedom and possibly isn't all that fond of Big Corporations, you should perhaps give LinuxMint a try, you might like it.
I use the LiveCD as it has all the crap you need install by default (mp3 codec, flash player, etc)
It's not what I use on my main system as I tend to mainly use Ubuntu on that - Dual Booted with XP for Cubase, Ableton and VisualJockey - for the time being.
Anyways, take it or leave it bro.
Have fun!
PS
Plus it's a heap of shit right now and I'm saving for a new one, so there's not much point in changing it.
There a belief that Linux is hard to use. It more down to the distro you install. LinuxMint looks and acts almost identical to XP - without the snazzy blue taskbar and rolling green hills
Put it this way... My mum can use it. So I reckon the people who share wouldn't even notice it had changed.
It does bring fresh life to old hardware. I just got given a pc found in a cupboard in a new house. It had a knackered PSU, I've replaced that and now it works. It was pretty slow running before but it feels pretty rocket-fuelled now.
It's gonna become the backbone for an arcade machine I'm building...
Anywho....
Peace out bro
